Since the shooter throws the stone over obstacles, all that's needed is a clear, solid area to park that's 10 feet wide and deep enough to back in so that rear of the truck is within 70 feet of the farthest place where stone is to be placed.  Also, the area at the rear of the parking area should be clear of close obstacles so that the boom can swing freely to place stone where it's needed.
